1 Mile Shoe Review – Saucony Triumph 23

Good afternoon, everybody. This is Hal Kearney at Radcliffe's Run/Walk. Today, we're going to do our one-mile shoe review with the Saucony Triumph 23. Stay with us and we'll give you a quick review after we're done. Let's go.
Saucony Triumph 23, size 11D, extremely light, great bounce, very balanced feel. Unlike some of the max cushion shoes where you have a lot of squish and you feel like you have to really push out of it, this one has a nice rebound, a really good feel, nice roomy toe box, nice contact on the ground. Really felt great along with my Jogology socks lightweight cushion this is a really good combination. I think it's going to be a hit.
The interesting thing about this shoe—anybody who has a concern about having a narrow heel—this might be the most snug heel I've ever had on in a shoe, and I've been in the business 30-plus years. And this is really, really snug around the heel. Not tight where it was uncomfortable, but really held you in place. I was very impressed with that.
The Wahoo treadmill was phenomenal today. We did Central Park. This treadmill is absolutely ridiculous. You can actually type in the course—if you want to go up Lookout Mountain, it'll literally start you at the bottom and incline on its own to get you to the top of Lookout Mountain. It's the complete course. It's really, really amazing.
We are one of the only retailers in Tennessee for this. So, if you want to come try it, set up a time, come by, and then jump on and, take a run. It's really, amazing.
But overall, back to the Triumph: phenomenal fit, great cushion, and a little bit of rebound, nice bounce. So, I give it a two thumbs up on this one. This one's really great.
